Really, for whoever is guilty of these crimes, which almost everyone at the time was in some way, there is no adequate punishment.  I suppose you could take their families out in the street and kill them slowly, but then we would be as bad as them.  There is no plausible way to punish these people for these crimes, so all we can do is protect the memories of the Jewish people who lost their lives in the war, and never let any atrocities like these happen again.

But how can we protest visible minorities from these sorts of things.  We have proven ourselves un-productive in protecting the Muslim, and Arab people from such persecution in light of September 11.  The Americans themselves have implemented strict guidelines reducing freedoms of people of Middle Eastern decent.  What is the world coming to?  We must prevent a second Holocaust from occurring by standing up against the strong to protect the weak.  We cannot allow people to be pushed around because of their beliefs or the actions of a few.  The more and more governments restrict the freedoms of specific groups of people the closer we come to a second Holocaust.

Hate crimes will continue until we make it unacceptable in our society to see any difference in people of different backgrounds other then our own.  Holocaust timeline A second holocaust can be prevented but only we can do it, and we must do it.
Blame.  It’s easy to pass, difficult to give, and near imposable to accept.

Another front the Nazi’s would have to be criticized on is their most powerful tool, Hitler. He’s not a German. By his own teachings he’s not as good as us, he’s of the weaker people. How can he be trusted? He doesn’t have our best interests in mind. How could they deny this? Really no one could. In a struggle to keep Hitler from power it would turn into a vicious mudslinging campaign, and in his mental state I have no doubts he would retaliate showing the people what he’s really about. What would he do, send in the storm troopers? That would remind people of the war and re-emphasize my first point of how Hitler is nothing but a warlord.

Not everyone has fallen for the propaganda of the Nazi’s. Not everyone is that gullible. I’d try to make sure that people saw the lies behind what Hitler was saying. I’d simply tell the truth. Hitler can do nothing about the economy; it is the Americans’ problem. We need to simply all work hard for Germany, making it rich. Noting else will improve our economic situation. We must pay for our country with our own sweat. Will Hitler do go take our spot in the fields or in the factories? No! We must do it ourselves.

All it would take is to expose one lie and people might finally see Hitler for the liar he truly is. Just one gust of wind could topple his entire tower of cards.

Ahh yes. We here are reminded yet again by the people that do resist the Nazi movement that not everyone is foolish enough to be fooled by the tyrants of the world. Thank God for that.
