Nazi Success and Failure in WWII

There are two reasons for Hitler and the Nazis success, and just one for their failure, in World War I.

The first reason for success is one man, Hitler.  Hitler single handedly formed the Nazi party.  He was all that they had.  In a time when people were thought to follow, he chose instead to lead.  He used all of his abilities to his advantage, and hid his weaknesses expertly.  He used his wits, charms, and interpersonal skills to his full advantage; He realized the power of the people, and of propaganda.  Never before and never since has any country ever seen someone so polluted be accepted, and even loved by so many people.  Hitler was a great man for sure, but not a good man.  He demands respect at the very least. The accounts depict the Nazis for the sadistic group they truly were.  They talk about the beatings they endured, the pain they suffered, but above all else, how they survived. Read more

Who to “Blame” for the Holocaust

Who really is to blame for the Holocaust?  The truth be told you really can’t blame anyone specifically.  You could blame the people of Germany at the time who sat idly by as the Jewish people were killed by the millions.  You could blame the soldiers who carried out these acts of malicious violence.  You could blame the soldier’s commanding officers, or their commanding officers’ commanding officers for giving the orders to exterminate the Jewish people.  You could blame Hitler for spreading the message of great hate over the land.  You could even blame the whole European anti-semantic culture for having almost 2000 years of hate directed towards the Jewish people.  The only people you really can’t blame in some way is the Jewish people themselves. Resistance of the Jews

Why did the Jewish people just go along with the Germans to be killed?  Well the truth of the matter is that some of the Jewish people did resist.  They fought with the Nazis and tried to protect their families, but a handful of poorly armed Jewish people were nothing to the German war machine.

We are told of many heroic attempts by the Jewish people to escape from the work camps.  One woman in particular who, when told to disrobe, wiped off her garment hitting and S.S.  officer in the eyes.  She then snatched his revolver and shot him and another S.S.  officer.  Many more of these heroic stories were poping up all over, but I doubt any lived to tell the stories themselves. The Suffering of the Jews and the Evil of the Nazis

The suffering of the Jewish people in the ghettos and death camps is almost incomparable to any other atrocity committed to our fellow man. They endured everything from living in confined quarters, to being killed no in the most humane way but the cheapest way.

Even before World War I the Jewish people faced hardship. Since the death of Jesus Christ they have been prosecuted, especially in Europe. Prejudice and immoral acts had been committed against the Jewish people for over 1900 years before the time of Hitler. Read more

Hitler’s “Reasoning” for the Holocaust

Realistically Hitler had no reason for killing the Jewish people other than he didn’t like them, but he himself was fully convinced of the validity of his reasoning. He had four main reasons that would be logical were they true.

Hitler an the Nazis believed that the Jewish people were a weaker race then the Arians, and that they were holding Germany back from achieving its full potential. He said that they were parasites preying on the good will of the Germans, and that the Germans actually had to stand up to them. Read more

Nazi Leaders During the Decline

There are two simple words to express how the Nazi Leaders felt during Germanys decline in power, not well.  After losing in Great Britain and Russia the Nazi’s morale was at an all time low.  They suffered two huge defeats in a row, and that never feels good.

Hitler’s weakened state also hurt the Nazi morale.  He was always considered the backbone of the party, after all ha made it what it was.  Hitler knew that he could not let on that anything was wrong though.  No, he had to keep a tough face on and show that he was still going strong.  Read more

Facts About Holocaust

Hitler’s plan was a very simple one; take over Europe then the world. By 1939 Hitler had amassed a large army, and air force. Hitler’s strategy was simple he pounded fortified city’s with his superior air force, sent in the artillery, and finally sent in the regular ground troops to clean up any remaining forces.

Hitler knew that all he needed to do to conquer Europe is take England, the only real power at the time. He knew also that they would join the war almost immediately. He didn’t want to divide his forces by fighting on two fronts so he aligned himself with Stalin and Russia to protect his back. Once he conquered the weaker European countries he planned on mobilizing against France and once he had taken that he would move on England. Finally his last real adversary in Europe was Russia, who he didn’t expect to hold out for very long. He then would have conquered all of Europe, and effectively the entire world. Read more

Munich Agreement Reaction Letter

What an atrocity the newly signed Munich Agreement is. Have you read it? Well basically it gives the rights of Czechoslovakia to Germany, without so much as a word of disapproval from Britain, France or Italy. What rite does Germany have to Czechoslovakia? They think if a country speaks German then it must of course be not a separate country but a province of Germany.

Peace. What a wonderful thought, we’ve been striving for it for millions of years now, but has it come? No! We need to stop thinking of peace as the only choice. With every act of submission we make towards Germany peace doesn’t come closer, it becomes less obtainable. Read more

Winston Churchill and the Holocaust

Winston Churchill was the first man, and one of the few men, who saw Hitler’s Germany for what it really was, and took it for what it was worth. He saw Germany as a great threat and it certainly was.

Churchill and Hitler both saw many things about the war in common. They both knew it would be a hard fought battle and a struggle. They both agreed that Germany was very powerful. Now the fact they didn’t both agree on, which no one ever agrees on in war, is who is on the morale side. Hitler thought he was right and Churchill thought he was a madman. Churchill thought that Hitler was being unfair by breaking the treaty, but Hitler saw the treaty as unfair in the first place. Read more
